I was a member of the Maverick Club from 
approximately 1957 to 1961 or 1962 and 
then moved to Nevada. 

I was on the tumbling team with Johnny Plant, 
Richard Womack, Johnny Cobb, Pat Hamilton, 
David Jacobs, Philip Garcia. One year I was 
the novice winner in tumbling at a meet at 
the club against an Oklahoma City club. 

I also played Football, Softball, and Basketball. 

Mr. Dykeman not only spanked me he sat on me a 
number of times. My brother D.D. and I won the 
talent contest at camp. Singing an Everly brothers 
song. D.D. also was awarded most quizative camper. 
Fun times and fond memories.



Bobby Stevens was a member of the tumbling 

team back in the late 50's and early 60's.  

Some of Bobby's fondest memories was of 
the 
Maverick Club. 

Tommy's Cousin is Tommy Brooks, 
another alumni
of the Maverick Club.  The last time 
Bobby
was at the Maverick Club was 1980. 

Bobby 
looks forward to hearing from anyone 
who can 
tell him of what has happened in 
the last 20 years.  

Bobby says, "I'm 
sure alot has happened since I was 

last there".
