Edsel Buchanan

 
Edsel Buchanan formerly from Omaha, NE, formerly of Lubbock, TX and lifelong educator, died at the 
Eastern Nebraska Vets Home following a long illness due to Alzheimer's 
disease. 

Preceded in death by wife, Anita Buchanan; parents, John and 
Agnes Buchanan; brothers, John and sister-in-law, Lucille Buchanan, and 
Frank Buchanan; sister, Betty McCormack Haynes, all of Texas. Survived 
by sons, Steven Buchanan, and Stanley Buchanan and daughter-in-law 
Kathy Andersen; daughter, Stella Watts and son-in-law John Watts, 
all of Omaha; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; many beloved 
nieces and nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:30pm Saturday, October 13, at Benson 
Baptist Church, 6319 Maple St, Omaha, NE. Reception immediately 
following the Service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations 
are made to either: The Nebraska Alzheimer's Association at 11711 
Arbor St Ste. 110, Omaha, NE 68144; or The Eastern Nebraska Vets 
Home, 12505 S 40th St, Bellevue, NE 68123.
